Edes & Associates was engaged in executing programme audits of grants administered by the world’s largest multilateral financier of programmes to prevent, treat, and eliminate HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria. This project involved audits across multiple countries, including Ghana (US$ 803 million), Lesotho (US$ 252.9 million), South Africa (US$ 56 million), Malawi (US$ 574 million), Zimbabwe (US$ 382 million), Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, and South Sudan. The primary goal of this engagement was to ensure the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of these grants.
Situation
Edes & Associates’ responsibilities included:
